sooo. today sucked on the way to work.. my car started smoking and i thought it was onfire.. but it wasn't.. and it wasn't overheating... so i 'm not sure what else is wrong with it.. bah.. i hate cars.. alot!
I spent the day moving stuff from the living room into my room, and now my room is a mess... and yuck...
and now we are gonna go see the weatherman... so my room will be messy maybe forever.. i have to work tomorrow.. what is the plan for the weekend? melissa is leaving.. so who's gonna hang out with me...???

so it seems that somewhere i n the night my modem decided to break, so the dsl people are sending a new one... it should be here by thursday.. 2 days with no internet at home.. say it ain't so.. blah!

so kids. what's up?

well i had a good weekend, even if i did miss like all the good shows. i did see a good show on thursday, so I wasn't completley deprived

and then i got to attend that lovely wedding and see some good friends there as well.

and then spin as always was fun fun!

happy birthday to cindy Mungle. too bad we didn't have a cake or anything to go along with it all...

but fun times were had.

My Drama Dust kids were there. always a blast and ever the cutest!

and then we played in the tubes ... fun fun. always fun hanging out with Jade, melis, adam, max, logan, and steph... good times.. always!

well i am watching toby again, looks like the grandfather is not going to make it.. so please pray for this family. they are dealing with alot!!!

going to pick up steph from school today and get her contacts... then try and find a dress for her brother joe's wedding...

so that should be fun.

then i am staying the night with tobey's family to try and help out. they think the granddad is gonna pass away soon. man that's hard for me to deal with. but i am doing what i can to help them out!

lots of good shows this week.. i'll tell youabout them sometime.. now i have to go see if i got that email yet..

Melissa says I have to drink water if I am going to get well... bleck.. I pretty much just hate drinking water.
Did I tell you before that I am sick? Oh... well i am. Not like horrible sick where i have to goto the doctor, or even have to stay in bed and not go to work sick ( God knows that won't happen) but just living on nyquiland dayquil, this weather sucks, coughing every 2 minutes or so sick... ok maybe its more than every 2.. its pretty frequent.. and melissa says even if i am taking medicine to break up all the crap in my chest that I should be drinking water to help clear it out... so I am trying to.. but its kinda gross. the only water I really like to drink is super cold water and none of ours is.. and ice just seems like a distraction.. so i'll just drink the water and try not to hate it.. otehr than that life is good. I did miss a birthday party for one of my kids today at the zoo. But i am after all sick... I seem to really like typing ( ... )
have you noticed. We had a training class for work today, it was good and I think it was very beneficial. We need to be doing more teacher directed activities with the kids.I think it will make everything better and the job more enjoyable. I actually really like my job right now. I work with some awesome people, at a really good center, where they really do care about the kids. Seems almost rare in my profession. Which is something else i have realized.. that I enjoy my job that much more when i catergorize it as a career, rather than just a job. When i stand up and take into account that I have chosen childcare as a profession,I am somehow happier with it than just saying " yeah, i work at a daycare" It's a whole different thing. And actually the truth. I have tried lots of other stuff. and found that I am only truly happy when i am doing childcare. Children make the world a better place to be.. its true!

There is a new movie out that I saw a while back called children of men. the movie is set in future where woman can no longer bare children,and babies just died suddenly. The youngest child who was like 18 has just been murdered. I didn't really think about it watching the movie, but afterwards it hit me, what an awful existence that would be... very sad indeed. but yea.. kids are good. i like them... they are fun, even in tornados.
Crazy Texas weather. We had a
tornado scare at work yesterday..a nd we had all the kids in the hall . We sang songs and held them close and just prayed the bad weather would pass us over. thankfully it did. but there was a scary moment or two and we even had some parents siting with us in the hall. It seems to be the one bad thing about springtime, all the darn tornados. I have been blessed to have never really been in one, but they freighten me none the less..

Lets see what else can i ramble to you about... I haven't done this in quite sometime..a nd i must say it feels really good to just get it all out of my head and onto this lovely little blog page. Its mostly nonsense I know.. but sometimes that makes for a good read.
WEIRD... I just saw a cat hoping through the grass, out the window... maybe the most odd sight ever.hopping.. like a rabbit... speaking of rabbits... haha

I still need to tell you about last weeks musical weekend with some of my favorite bands.. but I have almost let too much time pass to capture it.. but i probably still will because..well we all know how important the music is right... so later on i'll tell you about the cold, andthe campfire, andthe snails, and jesse and kevin and the jellyfish...

oh and i am going to watch this movie! Hoot. it was cute. but kinda childish.. who knew there were owls that burrowed in the ground.. not me...

My cat came home..he missed me.. i think he and patches are in love... We us to say it jokingly that Jeffrey was patches 's boyfriend.. but i have never seen a boy cat groom another cat the way he does.. its weird and kinda cute...

Work is prettygood. i have days i dislike and i hate working nap rooms.. but otherwise its been good.

There has been a lot of rain latelylots of rain tends to flood our property and our back yard neighbors as well. they almost have to swim to their porch.. lol

After a million years.. we are finishing Alias ... season 5.. on dvd... finished the second disk tonight,,, waiting to seehow it all turns out :)

I am also in the process of finishing Rosweell. the final season.. so good soo far...

plus with steph working at blockbuster we watchlike a million movies a week...

I just watched Charlotte's web the other day.. andi must say two things disappointed me about it...

that there were no songs ( chin up, Ican talk , timpleton's fair song... all very important parts)

and that Jeffrey the gosling is not a character...

plus this real life lookingcharlotte and her babies were kinda creepy looking.. didn't make me as sypathetic to spiders as the cartoon does.. but it was pretty good :)

Ok so its 2:11 AM and i am headd to bed..lots of fun shows this weekend!

brrrr.. can we say cold! Generally I am just a wimp... but i had a guy from Canda tell me he was in DFW the other day and that it was almost as cold as Canada.. SO Maybe i'm not such a wimpafter all. .Maybe its just that cold!

Work is ok. I enjoy my job. The kids are fun, my coworkers overall are great. Sometimes I think some of them have alot to learn about kids, and I dissaprove of the way they handle things. but i mostly keep quiet because I don't want to start any trouble or get on anyones bad side...

So I saw Verum, Foreign Oren and Flying machine on friday. They were all fabulous as always! Fun times with friends. Yay

I mostly spent yesterday in bed . it was nice and cozy the dog and cats all cuddled up close to me. Mom and i watched While you were sleeping and Girls, Girls, Girls.

First of all you can't go wrong with an Elvis movie.. he's always good!

and Sandra Bullock is the same. While you were sleeping remains one of my top favorite movies ever!

I plan on watching Heroes today... I am behind i only ever saw the first episode.. so i figure today i will get involved in all that....

Anyways just thought i'd say hi.. cause i promised myself i would blog this year!
